Profile
About
I am trained as an applied social anthropologist (M.A.), a continental philosopher (B.A.), a comparative religion scholar (B.A.), and a journalist (HS, English minor) with experience in ethnography, mixed methods research, college-level teaching, k-college study skills/selective subject tutoring, academic and public writing, non-profit canvassing and internship, office reception and department support, independent office organizational services, service industry retail and restaurant positions, as well as in editorial, graduate teaching, and classroom assistance roles.
My current paid work consists of remote call center, data entry, and transcription tasks. My unpaid work includes the recent launch and work-in-progress building process for an online magazine (The Conscious World), my latest as-yet-unfunded ethnographic research project (currently recruiting participants, see: The Meaningful Work Project), as well as long-term writing projects in fiction and non-fiction genres.
